0 to 55 Just like that!

I think we have all been reminded this week that time is precious. To enjoy the moment, this very second that our Creator has blessed us with. I am trying to slow life down, trying to slow it down for at the very least the next 9 games and the next 3.5 weeks. Life and particularly this year has flown by 0 to 55 just like that.

When I first interviewed for this job I remember being asked what excites you about this job. I had been on the opposing bench for few years prior and remember looking up and down that Dog roster and thinking at what point do they run out of athletes. Some of those athletes have gone on and graduated. But we still have some seniors that remind me everyday why I love to coach. #0,#13,#45 and #55. These four remind me everyday why I love to be a Bulldog.

These four have helped redefine a program. Have shown and taught us all what its like to give their very best all the time. They have set the bar so high for all of our players, us coaches and fans! Good basketball players, great teammates and better men. It feels like just yesterday I met these guys. 0 to 55 just like that. Us coaches have talked over the recent days and we are searching for a way to slow down the next 9 games. To enjoy the blessing of being their coach.

I hope they can get it to slow down themselves. Capture what makes this team so unique and cherish the memories that go along with it. These four kids senior year I pray ends with wins, championships and more importantly relationships that will last them a life time. Forever they’re our Dogs!
